Healthy Weight Program

Dr. Chad Costley and registered dietitian David Orozco have teamed up to lead a comprehensive, medically guided, and gimmick free lifestyle program at Ponce Primary Care. The Healthy Weight program offers extensive one-on-one time with David and Dr. Costley through which individualized nutrition and exercise plans are established, monitored, and enabled.  In addition, clients benefit from group classes and support groups led by David or Dr. Andrea Miller-Bruce, a licensed psychologist affiliated with the program.

Unlike most “diet” programs that sell food, calorie restricting liquid diets, etc., the Healthy Weight program specifically aims to provide the knowledge and motivational skills necessary to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle for the long-term.

The Healthy Weight Program includes:

Regular medical visits
One-on-one nutrition counseling
Food and nutrient analysis
Individualized meal plans
Fitness assessment
Weekly fitness sessions
Education sessions
Support group sessions
